Loafers Glory Rafting and Tubing is the perfect place for your next vacation. Located in the mountains of Mitchell County in Western North Carolina, we offer fun for the whole family with river excursions for ages 4 and up. We are the original and longest operating river company in Mitchell County. River trips are all we do and our priority is safety and fun for every guest. Our outpost is located in Bakersville, NC in a small community known as Loafers Glory. We are conveniently located to Spruce Pine, Linville, Banner Elk, Burnsville, Asheville, NC and Johnson City, TN.
You have your pick of outdoor adventure here. Hike the Appalachian Trail, visit Roan Mountain or Mt. Mitchell. Go caving, gem mining, or horseback riding in addition to rafting and tubing. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby for a scenic and beautiful drive with plenty of photo opportunities. Stay at a campground or at one of the many rental cabins in the area. We will gladly assist you in finding the perfect accommodations for your family or group.
