The Town of Bakersville is lighting itself up for Christmas! Our volunteers have been hard at work to turn the community into a winter wonderland.
Refreshments will be served at the Lighting by Bakersville local businesses.
Bakersville is working in collaboration with the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce to make sure our special town, Gateway to the Roan and Home to the Arts, provides you with an array of spectacular lighting along the Creek Walk, and up and down our gallery lined main street and other streets. Our residents and businesses also light up their spaces in town and along the highway to help the Mountain Christmas Trail of Lights twinkle throughout the county. Don’t forget to go by the Bakersville Fire Department to see their gift of a gigantic lighted tree atop the roof.
